A Texas Size Conspiracy

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has recently been indicted by a grand jury for an illegal investment scheme.  He faces felony charges. Word has it some church groups who had him scheduled to speak have now pulled the offer.  The intriguing thing about the story is his connection to the state's Religious Right.  He is an active member of Prestonwood Baptist, one of the largest churches in the state.  It happens to also be a church where the pastor likes to use his influence as pastor to promote political candidates.  Many recall his advocating electing his friend, Mike Huckabee, for President.  It appears the church has not been silent about endorsing candidates for office.  A Dallas news magazine noted the head associate pastor in May of this year was sending out emails endorsing candidates for local elections.
The rival Texas Baptist church, as far as size, is found in Second Baptist in Houston.  The fellowship is home to the state's Lieutenant Governor as well as Senator Ted Cruz.  Several state GOP heads have been members of this large congregation with franchises across the region.  The 2nd logo is an influential item to have on a church sign.  Second's Associate pastor, Gary Moore, invited Dr. Ben Carson, the GOP Presidential candidate to come to the church.   Moore reminded the church body that it was important to know what candidates held as a world view.    The church has a rich history of endorsing candidates and going to court to defend it's tax exempt status in doing such.
Recent Texas GOP head Kathy Adams lives in Dallas.  She was formerly head of the Republican group in the state after that office she became the head of Eagle Forum in Texas.  Kathy wants to return the nation to what it was intended to be.  That is, an official Christian Nation.   Kathy claims the Muslims in the U.S. are waging a "stealth jihad."   She, like her cohorts, are not big fans of President Obama.  She bases her dislike for the President on the fact that he is a Marxist who has fried his brains on drugs.    This lone star lady often compares Obama to Hitler.  How she makes the connect between calling him a left wing Marxist and also a right wing Fascist is subject to some creative cooking up of conspiracies.  She warned her fans to beware of Texas Muslims.  You can visit them in their homes and they will be kind.  After you walk out the door watch out.  They will shoot you in the back.     Recently the North Dallas area brewed up quite a controversy on a movement to stop Muslims from opening up a new cemetery in the region.  Some argued this would open up the area to terrorist cells not to mention polluting the ground water in the area.
Texas Tea Party activist Mary Hutts joined forces with Tamara Scott of Concerned Women of America.  The two warned the nation that immigrant children might be trained as troops to start a revolution in America.   Other pundits are suggesting the President is going to use the immigrant children as specimens to run medical experiments on.
Former Republican leader Tom Delay recently told churches to go on the offensive against "Marxist President Obama."   Tom was the Texas legislator who was forced from office over issues relating to special interest money.  He claimed to be innocent of all charges which he said were politically motivated.  Historian Bill Federer notes Obama is bringing in Muslims to form sleeper cells to set up sharia law in the land.   Federer will be one of the featured speakers at the Texas Renewal Project taking place in Austin on August 24-25, 2015.  Texas Governor Abbott will be there as well as Huckabee to train Christians, especially ministers, on how to run for political office.  Ted Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz will also speak.  Ex-Communist Rafael, calls Obama a socialist and finds little to like about the nation's leader.  He claims God gave him a vision that his son would be on the Supreme Court.  Former Texan Richard Land compares Obama to a radical African dictator who used violence against white farmers.
Presidential candidate Ted Cruz has his father out front bringing in backers to the Harvard graduate's campaign.  Ted has been called on the carpet for his harsh words against GOP Senators he differs with over policy.  Ted called them liars and the Party tried to calm Ted down.  They have not tried to reel in his father.  Rafael stated, "Send Obama back to Kenya."  He warns churches and political gatherings that the government will take your money and Obama has no problem committing murder with it.  He stated the media is evil and wants to destroy the country.   Rafael's son Ted defended Nevada rancher Bundy in his refusal to pay government lease money.  The conflict led to a Militia gathering in a potential armed conflict with Federal officials.   Ted noted that Obama is the leading cause of state sponsored terrorism, not Iran.
Past state Congressman Steve Stockman is further to the far right than the rest of the crowd.  Steve assured his followers that the Clinton's caused the Branch Davidian fiasco to take away our assault rifles.  The last time the gun advocate was elected to office he introduced a bill to allow teachers to carry handguns to class.  Steve suggested Obama would use executive order to seize total power.   He speculated the President brought Ebola into the U.S. from Africa to create emergency power for his office.    Our former regional Congressman recently told a radio audience that Obama cannot be a true American because he supported Nelson Mandela.  Obama is supposed to have spread Ebola to take control of the economy.  Steve noted the U.S. is not actually fighting ISIS.    The war in the Mideast is a fake war waged by Obama to make it difficult for the next President.
Fellow conspiracy monger, Texan Jon Hagee, has further warning about the Obama administration.  Christian Zionist Hagee, has received special revelation from God about the Iranian Nuclear deal.  Hagee states that if this deal is approved God will not protect America from terrorists.
Jade Helm 15 has gone on this summer without a note of controversy.  This is the military exercise conspiracy mongers claim will be used by the Federal Government to declare marshal law.  Ted Cruz said the fear over the military exercise needs to lay at the foot of the President.  Ted says the President has created so much fear and suspicion, it is no wonder some Texans are frightened of the nation's leader.  It is interesting the Senator blames the President yet finds little evidence that his own party might have something to do with such fear mongering.

There is a popular conspiracy theory that the state of Texas is actually its own country. This theory is based on the fact that Texas has a long history of independence, dating back to its time as a republic.  what is osteoporosis Additionally, Texas has its own flag, constitution, and laws, which are all different from the rest of the United States. Supporters of this theory believe that the state of Texas is slowly but surely seceding from the rest of the country, and that it will eventually become its own independent nation. While there is no concrete evidence to support this theory, it is nonetheless a popular one, and it's easy to see why people believe it.
